Who We Are

Sacred Heart Parish is a Roman Catholic Church family located on Spokane's lower South Hill, very near the medical core of the city. Our parishioners come from a variety of backgrounds and though most live relatively near the church, others join us from across the city. They find here faith, fellowship, and vibrant prayer.

Our commitment to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed finds expression in our Sunday liturgies, which are animated by nourishing reflections on the Word of God and a profound and joyful celebration of the Lord's Last Supper in the Eucharist.

Join us for an Ash Wednesday Simple Soup Supper to begin the Lenten season with fellow Sacred Heart Parishioners. Enjoy a meatless meal of soup, bread, and water following the 5:30pm Mass.
Reconciliation-Confession

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on:

Saturdays, 4:00 - 4:30 pm
1st Friday of every month, 9:00 - 9:30 am

Also available by appointment

First Friday of the Month - 9:00am (After the 8:30 am Mass)

Our Pastor

Bishop Daly appointed Father Victor Blazovich as the new pastor of Sacred Heart Church as of October 1, 2021.

Protecting our Children

Sacred Heart Parish and the Diocese of Spokane are committed to helping victims/survivors of sexual abuse and to protecting children and vulnerable adults. Volunteers who supervise other volunteers who work with minors and vulnerable adults are required to report any suspected abuse by others they supervise.
